CONCRETE TUB

In a Palm Beach condo, designer Vicente Wolf placed the cast-concrete bathtub on a slab inside the glass shower stall to make it "a sculptural focus."

OLD-WORLD WAINSCOTING

Back at the 18th-century when this Massachusetts farmhouse was constructed, there was no such thing as a master tub. So architect Michael T. Gray and interior designer Hattie Holland carved one from a hallway and added wainscoting and window casings to create a sense of the past.

Designer Lindsey Coral Harper updated a North Carolina home's master bath by adding Carrara marble tiles and glazing the bathtub white.

Designer Eddie Lee reimagined this master bath as "a mix of English charm and Asian lushness, with a few European classicism added in," he says. While blue Farrow & Ball paint overhead imitates a cloudless heavens, panels grace the walls.
